# Account Creation

Your DMU portal account is created by our team — there's no
public sign-up form. Once it's ready you receive a welcome email,
and everything from there is self-serve.

## The five-minute version

1. Our team creates your account using the email address you gave
   us.
2. You receive a **welcome email** from the DMU portal.
3. You click the button in that email (or go to
   [portal.dmu.gr](https://portal.dmu.gr) directly).
4. You're taken to **secure.dmu.gr** — our identity provider — to
   sign in. The change of address is expected.
5. The first sign-in walks you through three quick steps:
   **email verification**, **set a password**, **set up two-factor
   authentication**. All three are part of one continuous flow.
6. You're signed in and back at the portal, where you can view
   your proposal, pay your first invoice, and find everything else
   we share with you.

The whole thing takes about five minutes the first time. After
that, signing in is just email + password + your second factor.
